Frequently asked questions
How long will my artwork take to create?
The artwork will usually take about 4-6 weeks to complete. However, this can vary depending on my workload and can be up to 2 months before I can begin your piece.
I want a piece of art but I don’t know exactly what I want?
The best way to get an idea is by gathering any pictures, photos and colour palettes that interest you through my website, Instagram or Pinterest etc.
Think about the size you would like, and if you would prefer one piece or a set of pieces in your space. Consider the colours you are attracted to and what colours would suit the space the artwork will be placed in.
Do you offer on-site consultations?
If you live in Sydney, and need help deciding what would suit your space or are unsure on what size you need, I’d be happy come out to you and give you advice on what I think would best suit. I can also bring smaller samples of works to show you different colours or textures.
What is the cost for shipping?
Shipping may vary depending on the weight and size so while all care is taken to give you the closest shipping fee in our online shop, for the very large pieces, this can be significantly more as we will often use specialist art transportation companies if necessary. Due to the fragility of the art, especially when ordering larger pieces, we also add insurance to them. An approximate costing can be given at the time of initial quoting, however this may vary at the time of dispatch.
If you need someone to install the work in your home, I can direct you to some reputable art installation companies that also provide art transportation.
You are always welcome to pick up the art yourself from Concord, Sydney.
Do I need to pay up front?
When starting a commission I require 40% deposit to begin and the 60% is due once artwork is completed but before shipping or pick up. A photo of the finished piece will be emailed to you before being shipped.
How do I know my piece is original?
Every piece that I create comes with a certificate of authenticity. It also has my signature and a reference code specific to that piece on the back of every artwork.
Can you do the same artwork as another of yours I’ve seen but in a different size?
Yes! While every one of my pieces are original, if there is something of mine that you love that you have seen previously, I can do my best to create something very similar to it in any size that suits your space.
What is the cost of a commissioned piece?
Each artwork varies greatly depending on the time, size and materials used on each commission. When I am commissioned to create an artwork for you, a lot more time goes into the process of an onsite or online consultation, along with colour and technique trials, and usually a mock up is sent to you for approval before I begin the original artwork.
